Local Outreach

Putting our Faith In Action

The Bridge hosts several Faith In Action outreach weekends every year. These all-hands-on-deck outreaches are customized for the entire congregation to get out of the four walls of the church and get involved in our community. With a heart for the community, we also support and sponsor many local outreaches and organizations seeking to make life better here in Nassau County.

Bridge of Hope

The Bridge of Hope is the benevolence arm of The Bridge Family Worship Center. Existing with a heart of compassion for those who find themselves in a difficult time, The Bridge of Hope provides assistance with immediate needs and long term recovery. We work in conjunction with the following organizations to fulfill this goal.

	Second Harvest Food Bank In conjunction with our community outreaches, we are a member agency of Second Harvest, The Food Bank of North Florida.
	Nassau County Autism Foundation The Nassau County Autism Foundation helps others understand the problems facing families affected by autism. It also raises funds to assist disadvantaged families and to fulfill the wishes of autistic children that their families might not be able to afford. Art for Autism is an initiative of the foundation.
	TLC Pregnancy Center This Christian unplanned pregnancy facility promotes the sanctity of human life in Nassau County. They provide an outreach ministry to women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy, by providing for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, through supportive counseling and provision of material needs and community referrals.
	Builder’s Care Builders Care is a nonprofit division of the Northeast Florida Builders Association established to reduce substandard housing by providing repair services to seriously deteriorated homes belonging to the low income, elderly and disabled.
	Micah’s Place Micah’s Place provides prevention and intervention services to victims of domestic violence. They also provide education within our community to effect change in behavior and attitudes relating to domestic violence.
